Tree of Life for March

Tree of Life for March is an Alder tree, two halves growing together, producing new green seeds, while holding on to last years brown seed heads. March is the time of the Spring Equinox where all things are equal, hence the symmetry in this painting. The mad March Hares leap around the outside of the Mandala. The Sun shines and smiles down from above. Spring is here, the earth warms and brings life to the world once again.
