Many of my walks are through birch forests, I adore their silvery beauty. Many birches have been felled recently but I feel that they still sway and cast their shadows, just as we leave our own mark on the paper beneath that which we write stories upon, leaving the shadowy palimpsest for others to find and be intrigued by. This work will bring a graceful beauty to any wall that it is placed on.
